It all made sense once.

Maybe you learned to people-please because it kept the peace…

Maybe you became hyper-independent because no one was there when you needed them…

Maybe it felt like you were the only one you could rely on…

Maybe you overachieve because your worth always felt conditional…

Maybe you keep everyone at arm's length because trusting people has never felt safe…

Maybe letting people in just means getting hurt again…

Maybe it's "just anxiety…"

Maybe it's "just depression…"

My clients don’t start therapy because the "have anxiety."

They come because they keep ending up in the same painful relationships, struggling to trust others, constantly feeling "not enough," or unable to understand why they keep repeating the same patterns. Always feeling on edge.

A lot of the time it all comes back the relationships that taught us who we had to become.

Because the the people and situations in our lives often create those pain points. Only safe relationships can help heal them.

All of us grew up hearing what and who were were.

You're too sensitive.

You're too loud

You're the responsible one.

You're difficult.

You're the smart one.

You're selfish.

You're not enough.

Over time, those messages become the stories we tell ourselves. Then one day we become adults... and never rewrote the script we were handed.

Together we'll identify where those patterns began and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and the people around you, because the truth is…

It doesn’t matter if those pattern look like anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, relationship struggles, low self-worth, or difficulty setting boundaries, we'll work together to understand where they came from and build healthier ways of moving forward.

We'll use the tools that fit you best—whether that's EMDR, CBT, ACT, or other evidence-based approaches.

One of my favorite concepts is the Japanese art of Kintsugi; repairing broken pottery with gold instead of throwing it away. The cracks aren't hidden. They’re valued.

That is how I see people. You are not broken. You adapted for a reason.

Our worth doesn’t come from being “perfect” or “unbroken“ but from the journey we take in life and the adversity we overcome.

Therapy with me is collaborative, relationship-based, and tailored to you. I work with clients of all identities, sexual orientations, and relationship structures, including LGBTQ+, kink/BDSM, monogamous, polyamorous, and consensually non-monogamous relationships.

I meet you where you are” with your strength struggles, and everything in between. Together we'll understand what helped you survive, where you want to go, and what may be standing in the way.

Together we’ll reframe past pain points, replace coping skills that no longer work for you with new ones that work for the life you want today by using evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs.
